This project focuses on developing a complete brand identity for a cosmetics company, including a custom logo, color palette, and digital presence across Instagram and a website prototype designed in Figma for both desktop and mobile. I conducted extensive market research, including mood boards and industry analysis, to ensure the brand's visual identity aligned with current trends and audience expectations. The goal was to strengthen my branding skills and improve in areas like logo design, which I’ve actively been working on. This hands-on approach allowed me to simulate real-world brand creation and refine my design process.

Pinterest was my go-to tool during the research phase. It allowed me to collect inspiration, experiment with different visual directions, and identify what best fit the Glow Genie brand. From layouts and typography to imagery and color palettes, Pinterest helped shape the foundation of the project’s aesthetic. This exploration guided me toward the “clean girl” trend and softer, radiant tones, which later influenced the final mood boards, color selections, and brand personality.

After defining the brand’s mood and aesthetic direction, I explored multiple design iterations to test how the identity could translate across different formats. This included experimenting with logo variations, refining the color palette, and developing consistent typography rules. Each iteration helped me sharpen the brand’s voice and move closer to a cohesive, polished identity that aligned with Glow Genie’s mission: chic, refreshing, and radiant skincare for Gen Z and young Millennials.
